The Turkish Air Force Academy being continually cognizant of its unique responsibility in producing the Turkish Air Force officers with the skills required to follow and apply the new developments in science and technology, founded the Aeronautics and Space Technologies Institute (ASTIN) on August 17^th, 2001. The institute aims to support the Air Force through graduate education at master’s level in Aeronautical, Electronics, Computer and Industrial Engineering disciplines and by carrying out research applicable to Air Force as well as to civilian research and development environments.

For M.S. degree at ASTIN students are required to obtain a total 24 credits through 8 courses and submit a thesis. Education language is Turkish.
