Seminar, Symposium, Conference, Workshop, And Scientific Activities  

ASTIN organizes conferences, workshops, certificate programs, and seminars besides graduate education. 

RAST: is the acronym for Recent Advances in Space Technologies” is organized periodically in every two years. RAST 2003 which is a first in Turkiye, organized in 2003 with the participation of scientists from different countries, is highly approved by the scientific world.

 

Countries such as USA, England, France, Japan, China, Canada, Germany, South Korea, Russia, and establishments like NASA, Canadian Space Agency, European Union Space Agency, DLR and South Korean Space Agency and expert scientists in their fields from world’s leading universities participate in the activities of ASTIN.  

With the help of RAST conferences, the recognition of Air Force Academy in international Aerospace area is increased. These conferences not only contribute to our country’s Aerospace studies but also help faculty and students have international academic experience by both presenting papers or attending sessions, exchanging knowledge with experts around the world , learning the studies of the world’s developed and developing countries, establishing cooperation between scientists and aerospace organizations and declaring the desire of the Turkish Air Force to be active in the Air- Space studies.
