MAJOR GENERAL ERDOĞAN ÖZNAL (22.08.1988-21.08.1990)
General Erdoğan ÖZNAL was born in 1938 in Tekirdağ, he entered Kuleli Military High School in 1952.
In 1955, he entered Air Force Academy and graduated at the rank of 3rd lieutenant in 1957.Then he went to İzmir for his follow on flight training.In the years September 1,1957 and May 23,1959 after completing his pilot training, he served as fighter-intercepter pilot on the 8th Main Jet Base Command between the years May 2,1959- July 12,1962.
From July 7,1962 to August 21,1963 he served as Tactical Fighter Pilot for 6th Main Jet Base Command.In the years August 29,1963-September 16,1968 he was appointed to the 1st Main Jet Base Command as Tactical Fighter Pilot.He entered Air War Academy on September 19,1968 and graduated from the Academy on October 1,1970.Then, he attended Armed Forces Academy and following the graduation on March 8,1971, he was appointed to 1st Tactical Air Force Command as operation officer.
In the years August 30,1972- September4,1974 he served as an operation officer at SHAPE Headquarters in Belgium.On September 5,1974 he was appointed as the commandant of the 111th Squadron.Two years later he was appointed to Air War Academy as an instructor on June 28,1976 and served there for a year.
He served as the commandant of the 9th Main Jet Base Operations Department, then he served as the chief of operation planning section at the TUAF Headquarters for a year.
On August 18,1980 he was nominated as the General Secretary of TUAF and the following year he was promoted to Brigadiere General and appointed as the 4th Main Jet Base Commandant.
After on August 23,1983,he served as the chief of operations department of AIRSOUTH in Italy.In the years September 23,1985-September 8,1986 he served as the chief of Air Defence Department at the Headquarters.He was appointed as the chief of TUAF Personnel Division on August 8,1986. Two years later,he was appointed as the commandant to the Turkish Air Force Academy on August 2,1988.
MAJOR GENERAL MUSTAFA TÜRKER (15.8.1986-30.8.1988)
Major general Mustafa TÜRKER was born in Kula, Manisa on September 11,1936. After completing his primary and secondary school education in Kula,he entered Kuleli High School in 1952, he entered Air Force Academy in 1955 and graduated from TAFA at the rank of 3rd lt. in 1957.
After completing his jet flight training in eskişehir in October 1958,he served as fighter intercepter pilot for 8th, 6th and 1st Main Jet Base Commands.
In the meantime,he attended Ground-Safety Officer Course in USA on October 18,1967-February 16,1968.
He entered Air War College in 1968 and graduated from Armed Forces Academy on March 13,1971 and was appointed to the 1st Tactical Air Force Command as specific armement officer,to the 1st Main Jet Base Command as operation chief on August 2,1972.
He attended NATO Defence College in Rome between the years February 26,1973-July 27,1973.In the years 1973-1974, after acting as a commander of 112nd squadron he served at the Headquarters of SHAPE İN Belgium.
After September 3,1976 he served under the command of TUAF, then as the chief of operatıon –preparation section at the TUAF ops.div,then he was appointed to 1st Main Jet Base as operation commandant on August 28,1978.
In the years August 20,1980- August 20,1981 he served as 15th Missile Base Commandant in the years August 21,1981-August 22,1983, then as the chief of TUAF training department for one year.He was appointed to the chief of TUAF Persnnel Division on August 20,1984.He was appointed to the Air Force Academy Commandant on August 15,1986.
MAJOR GENERAL AHMET ÇÖREKÇİ (23.8.1982-15.8.1986)
Major general Çörekçi was born in Osmancık, Çorum on June 10,1932.He attended primary school in Osmancık,secondary school in Çorum.After graduating from Işıklar Military High School,he entered Air Force Academy and graduated from TAFA at the rank of third lieutenant.
From October 1,1955 to August 10,1957,he has completed his pilot training in İzmir and in Canada and got his pilot wing.
Between the years September 29,1957-September 10,1966 he has served as a pilot for 5th Main Jet Base Command
He entered Air War College in 1966 and graduated in 1968.Then he was appointed to the Turkish General Staff,Air Operations Department as operation officer.The following year, on August 5,1969 he was appointed as operation officer to the operation –training department of the th Main Jet Base.
He served as 163th and 162nd squadron commandant between the years August 30,1970-August 13,1972.Then he was appointed to Napoli Airsouth Headquarters as the chief of planning section and served ther for two years.

2. TUAF Headquarters Training Department ,Fligt Training Section on September 14,1976.
3. 4th Main Jet Base Commandant on August 30,1978
4. TUAF, Headquarters Logistic-Supply department’s chief on August 25,1981.
He served as Turkish Air Force Academy Commandant for four years between the years August 23,1982-August 15,1986.He retired at the rank of full general (four star general) on August 30,1997.
MAJOR GENERAL KEMAL YALÇIN (21.8.1980-23.8.1982)
Major General Kemal Yalçın was born in Diyarbakır on October 15,1930.He attended primary school and secondary school in Diyarbakır.He graduated from Işıklar Military High School in 1949 and after that he graduated from Army War College with the rank of 3rd lieutenant in 1951.Then he started flight training at Aviation School in April,1952.
After being a pilot on August 30 1953, he worked for different TUAF units and accomplished ‘Instructor Pilot Course’in USA.
After working as a wing-commander of the 162th squadron,he entered the Air War Academy and graduated in 1964.
He was appointed as an operation officer to TUAF Headquarter’s operation division on August 29,1964.In 1966, he was appointed to the 144th Squadron as a commander, in 1967 he was nominated to the Headquarters’operation department again.He had been to Kahire as Air Attache’ between the years 1968-1970.
In 1970,he was appointed to the 9th Main Jet Base Command as operation commadant.A year later,he was appointed to the Air War College as an instructor.
He was appointed to the 9th Main Jet Base as Commandant on August 30,1974.On August 23,1976 he was appointed to the 4th Main Jet BaseCommand as commandant.One year later,he became the chief of training department of TUAF,then he was appointed to the operation division as the chief in 1977 for two years.
He served as the commandant of Turkish Air Force Academy between the years August 21,1980-August 23 1982.
On August 30, 1986 he retired at the rank of lieutenant general.
