MAJOR GENERAL BİLGİN BALANLI (23.08.1999- 18.08.2002)
Maj Gen Bilgin Balanli was born Sept. 24, 1948 in Ankara. His military career started at the air high school in 1962. He graduated from the Turkish air force academy 1141967 as a pilot-candidate officer with the rank of third lieutenant.
After graduating from the flying school in 1968 as a pilot, he served at 192nd squadron of the 9 th main jet base as a fighter andreconnaissance pilot until 1975. Followingly, he was assigned to the 112th squadron of the first main jet base as a fighter pilot and served there until he entered the air force staff college in 1977. Upon graduation from the air force staff college in 1979, with the rank of staff captain, he served at the 7th main jet base respectively as a wingman at the 171st squadron, base operations officer, 173 rd squadron operations officer and the commander of the 173 rd squadron. In 1985, he was assigned to the air force academy as the head of military sciences department. After serving as the air force attaché in Moscow from 1989 to 1992, he was assigned to the first main jet base and served as the head of evaluation and inspection office from 1992 to1993, operations commander from 1993 to 1994. In 1994, he was promoted to brigadier general and assigned to the air force command chief.
After completing this duty, he served as the commander of the 9th main jet base during the years of 1996 and 1998. Upon receiving his promotion to the rank of major general in 1998, he was assigned as the 2nd tactical air force deputy commander. He reamined at this duty for one year and then he was assigned as the commander of the air force academy with the 1991 general assingments.

MAJOR GENERAL AYDOĞAN BABAOĞLU (23.07.1997- 23.08.1999)
Maj Gen Aydoğan BABAOĞLU was born in Samsun,in 1944.After completing his primary and secondary education ,he graduated from Air Force High School in 1962 and in the same year he entered the TUAFA and became a member of Air Force Family in 1964.
Upon completion his Flight Training , he was appointed to 142nd Squadron,
And then to 9th Main Jet Base after four years. He entered Air Force War College in 1974 and was appointed to General Staff Headquarters as a staff officer.
Beginning from 1976 he served at 4th Main Jet Base Command, 141st Squadron Wing Pilot as being Training officer and Squadron Commander.During these periods he completed his education at Armed Forces Academy.
Gen Babaoğlu was instructor at Air Force War College between 1981 and 1985. Meanwhile he completed Air Force University , Air War College in the USA. He served in NATO AIRSOUTH HEADQUARTERS as a Chief of Plan Devision in 1985-1988, as Chief of Air Operation Division in 1988 and 4th Main Jet Base Operation Comand and Control Committe .
In 1995 he was promoted to Maj Gen and became the Head of Personnel division in the Air Force Command. He became the Superintendent of Air Force Academy in 1997.

MAJOR GENERAL FARUK CÖMERT (23.08.1995 – 23.08.1997)
Maj Gen Faruk CÖMERT was born in Samsun,Vezirköprü in 1946.After completing his primary and secondary education ,he entered Air Force High School in 1960.
He graduated from TUAFA in 1965 and completed his Flight Training in 1967 and was appointed to 9th Main Jet Base Command as a Lt. He served as a
Wing Pilot in 191st and 192nd squadrons.
Upon completion his training in the Air War College in 1976, he was stationed in 4th Main Jet Base Command , 141st squadron. He served as a Training and Operation Officer. Having completed Armed Forces Academy in 1980, he was appointed to Air War College in 1981, to the USA Air Staff College and in 1982, to 6th Main Jet Base Command , 162nd squadron Command in 1983, to Napoly Air SOUTH Nato Headquarters between 1985 and 1988.
Gen Cömert was appointed to Diyarbakır 8th Main Jet Base Operation Command in 1989, 2nd Tactical Air Force Command Operation Head Office in 1990 and then to the Chief of Staff in 1991, to 8th Main Jet Base Command in 1992, to General Staff Control Head Office in 1994. He became the Superintendent of Air Force Academy in 1995 after his promotion to Maj Gen.in 1995.

MAJOR GENERAL BURHAN TUNALI (23.08.1993-23.08.1995)
Maj Gen Burhan TUNALI was born in Çanakkale,Eceabat in 1941.He completed his primary education in Eceabat and secondary and High School education in Çanakkale.He graduated from TUAFA in 1960 as a Lt.
After completing his pilot trainings in Eskişehir in 1963 he was stationed to 5th main Jet Base Command as a pilot.
In five years’ time he was appointed to 2nd Main Jet Base as an Instructor Pilot being 1st Lt.
Having graduated from Air war College in 1975, he was appointed to 6th Main Jet Base Command as a pilot.
After completing his mission at 161st Squadron Command he was appointed to Air Force Command Headquarters in 1980.
Untill 1987 he served as Plans and Projects chief and Secretary General at main Headquarters. During this mission he completed his Armed Forces Academy Education on August 1983. Between 1987 and 1989 he served as Operation Commander at 2nd Main Jet Base Flight School Command. He was promoted to Brig Gen in 1989 and became the Head of the Air Force Command Headquarters Planning and Programming Office.
At the end of two years of Headquarters service,in 1991 , he served as Base commander of 2nd Main Jet Base Flight school Command. After serving for two years he was appointed to TUAFA as the Superintended.

MAJOR GENERAL ORHAN KÖSE (21.08.1990-23.08.1993)
Maj Gen Orhan KÖSE was born in Gemlik in 1940.He completed his primary and secondary education in Gemlik.He graduated from Bursa Military High school in 1959 and in 1961 from Air Force Academy as a Lt.
After completing his pilot trainings in İzmir Flight School and Eskişehir Jet Pilot School in 1963 he was stationed to 6th main Jet Base 161st Squadron Command as a fighter pilot.
He graduated from Air Force College in 1973. Later he was appointed to 171st Squadron Operation Head Office and kept his position by September 5,1975.
He served in Air War College ,1st Main Jet Base, 111st Squadron Command, Air Force Academy , Dean of Academics Planning and Programming Research Department, TUAFA Cadet Wing Command, 1st Main Jet Base Operation Command , Air Force Command Personnel Head Office . On August 30, 1986 he was promoted to Brig Gen.
Between 1986 and 1988 he served as a 7th Main Jet Base Commander and 1988 and 1990 as a chief of Air Force Command Planning and Operation Head Office He became the Superintendent of Air Force Academy on August 30, 1990.And promoted to Maj Gen.
He served 3 years in this position and appointed to Air War College Command in 1993.
