THE TASK OF HUMAN RESOURCES EVALUATION, SELECTION AND POSITIONING CENTRAL DIVISION

 

            In order to provide potential talented cadets who will attune to the developing science and technology and who are modern and capable of dealing with the problems of 2000’s and also with the attributes and abilities to strengthen the Turkish Armed Forces, we want to;

 

·        Determine and improve “Public Affairs” methods

·        Improve the potential of candidates in terms of quality

·        Coordinate and conduct student selection and placement activities

·        Improve “Personality Tests”

·        Improve “Psychomotor and Ability Tests”

·        Conduct daily routines

 

THE ACTIVITIES OF HUMAN RESOURCES EVALUATION, SELECTION AND POSITIONING CENTRAL DIVISION

            The activities run by HRESP are :

 

·        Publicity of TUAFA

·        Application activities of TUAFA

·        Student selection stages of the candidates

 

PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN

 

  1. Introductory video films of TUAFA that are sent to Military High Schools in order to give information about TUAFA and its education system
  2. Poster that are sent to public high schools in order to give information about TUAFA.
  3. Notices are given out in the newspapers to reach potential candidates.
  4. Booklets are sent to potential candidates.
  5. Providing required coordination with Military High Schools.

 

APPLICATION ACTIVITIES

  1. Sending the brochures to the potential candidates’ addresses by mail.
  2. Assessment of selection process considering the number of applicants and determining the scores.
  3. Sending application forms according to the scores  and the number of applicants.

 

STUDENT SELECTION STAGES

Graduates of Military High Schools and Public High Schools are accepted to TUAFA. Selection Stages are executed for these two groups at different times.

For Military High School graduates, the selection stages are: 

  1. Flight Health Examination
  2. Psychomotor and Personality Tests
  3. Student Flight Training Selection
  4. Orientation Training

For Public High School Graduates, the selection stages are: 

  1. SSE –Math/Science-2 point
  2. Pre Health Examination
  3. Sports Test
  4. Psychomotor and Personality Tests
  5. Interview (Individual and Group Meeting)
  6. Decision Committee Interview
  7. Flight Health Examination
  8. Student Flight Training Selection
  9. Orientation Training
